Sis’Mandi Foundation was founded to honor the legacy of the matriarch of the Mbambisa family, Nomalungelo Natalia Mbambisa (affectionately known as Sis’ Mandi”). Born and bred in the village of Eskhobeni in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, Sis Mandi, through hard work and dedication, despite minimal resources, took it upon herself to address the socio-economic issues in her community.
Utilizing her own income, she would endeavor to buy groceries and contribute towards the education of the poorest of her neighbors. It is these endeavors that the Sis Mandi Foundation wishes to continue and expand.
